Based in the small coastal mining community of Waihi, Alitech Window Systems was founded in 2005 by Mark Ryan - one of New Zealand’s most experienced and respected joinery manufacturers. We also have a skilled team operating from our Hamilton office and showroom, servicing the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions.

Our expertise is second to none. Owner Mark Ryan brings over 50 years of experience to the industry, continuing the legacy started by his father, Keith Ryan, who established a window and door manufacturing company in 1972. Today, the family culture remains strong, with both of Mark’s sons, Hamish and Adam, proudly working in and on the business. Aluminium joinery is truly in our blood.

Alitech is a market leader in the New Zealand fabrication industry. We manufacture high-quality products for homeowners, developers, and builders, blending expert craftsmanship with advanced factory capabilities to consistently deliver exceptional results.

We operate two specialist factories: one producing premium Altherm residential joinery for the competitive housing and replacement window market, and the other focused on specialised APL Architectural Series and thermally broken bespoke joinery.
